MONEY MONEY MONEY thats all anyone can think about. The rich want to get richer, they revolve their heads around the idea that "mine is bigger than yours" giving them the incentive to "beat each other" and show off their wealth and power.
Being the CEO of a bank or a company like Goldman Saach's in the times like the recession or when it was leading up to the recession were are all under control of one person, one CEO for each company. That person who had control and power was corrupt and lied for his/her own benefit, even if it meant destroying the company's future.
Being a CEO is not an easy job, I am surprised as to how America got to being such a corrupt country. Everything that had been done, from selling homes, borrowing money, investing, or even having insurance, was all tangled with lies from the bank, investing companies, ratings, and large companies with large amounts of money. They all were involved in a society full of lies, destroying the American economy, without the americans even knowing.
But why?
So they could gain more personal profit. The people in power wanted more money than what they already had, and they did just about anything they needed to do to gain money, even if it meant manipulating other companies, hiring lobbyers, lying and even bribing.
Watching the documentary has made me truly realize that you never know exactly what happens with your money, theres always the question as to where it goes behind the transactions, loans or payments being made to the bank. A lot of people in the U.S.A didn't understand what was happening to the economy because the reason as to why the economy had crashed was hidden between all the corruption and lies.
If the government couldn't even bring this c r y for more and more money to a stop, how was the american population supposed to recover from falling into this large pit of d e b t.
