Prototypes have been a part of making ideas happen since forever. There is always many rough rafts before coming up with a final product. What we did today in class was exactly that. The creative process of creating a product such as Instagram pages, crossword puzzles, a song and even QR codes have the same basic process to follow.
There are five main parts to the process: coming up with ideas, sharing ideas, creating a prototype for the public, get constructive feedback and finally use the feedback given to improve the product. Creating an actual product is not a simple process. In class today we got to experience the entire process, the group I was in created an Instagram page to create new photo challenges for the FDR community to participate in. We made a prototype and got feedback from our peers telling us what they liked about the product, and what could be improved to make it better. After getting that we brainstormed, we re-thought out our ideas and brought in the ideas into another prototype which we told the class about right after. These skills are used in all life moments, you have to do things one step at a time so that it can be done correctly.
